Two of the four productions of the Art Accelerator Program- Machol Shalem Dance House Jerusalem and Dance PORT Derida in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In this program, during 2018, the four Jerusalem artists met with Bulgarian artists in both centers and created short works together.
The works by Tsveta Doycheva & Adam Shpira and Ivona Mashova & Sofia Krentz were artistically directed by Ruby Edelman and premiered at the Children’s and Youth Festival Forbidden for Adults in Smolyan in October 2018.
These works were created in cooperation with the Municipality of Jerusalem, the Israeli Embassy in Bulgaria.

Vasil Zelyamov and Yael Rowe

Vasil Zelyamov is an actor and contemporary dancer. He graduated “Acting for Drama theatre” at Theatre College “Lyben Groys” in 2015 and the educational program Dance PORT Derida 2017-2018, created and operated by Derida Dance Center. Since then he is working on dance projects with Derida Company and different foreign choreographers.

Yael Rowe Is an indipendant Choreography and dancer. She received her master’s from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and trained for several years in NYC.  She has created works for video and stage and was a choreographer for “Noga Dance company”. Her latest work: “And then she hugged”- a movie, was presented in the Israel museum for the Jerusalem festival “between heavan and earth”. Yael continues to work for upcoming festivals and partnerships and is soon to be a CMA in Laban/Bartenieff movement analyses.
